How do I use it?
1) Shake super well! Like natural peanut butter, separation is normal.
2) Apply 2-4 coats.
3) Air dry or blow dry with a hair dryer for faster drying time!
4) Remove using vinegar on cotton pads. Best removed after washing hands in warm water.
What’s the big deal?
Every nail polish on the market is either formulated with microplastics or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Anew Material was founded to replace them with safe and biodegradable ingredients. After years of research testing over 1,000 formulations, we’ve developed a patent-pending formula that you can finally feel good about.
Can adults use it?
Yes! Depending on your nail chemistry and lifestyle, our nail polish lasts about 2 days. While this is fun for the kiddos, we understand that adults want a longer lasting nail polish. We’re continuing our scientific research to develop a (almost permanent!) nail polish for adults.
What is it made of?
Inspired by nature, our ingredients are derived from plant-based sources and designed to return back to earth. Our film-formers are made with mushroom biopolymers and small molecules from pine trees and rice bran to make them water-resistant.

We ship anywhere in the United States. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Free local pickup is available in Manhattan. The Anew Team will email you to coordinate pickup in May 2026.

Our polish is made without plastic-based film formers and is formulated with water and low amount of ethanol, in comparison to current nail polish which is either formulated with microplastics or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). As with all cosmetics, adult supervision is recommended.

It can be removed with micellar water or vinegar. We are developing our own water-based remover available in summer 2026.

The Founder’s Batch was just 300 bottles for our first official production run. This first release allowed us to introduce our microplastic-free, low-VOC formula in a small, intentional way while we scale manufacturing. The next batch will be available in May 2026.
